PLEASE TAKE NOTE:  BBN Events proudly present our 9th annual Boys and Girls Fall League. Games will be played at Hermon Schools and the surrounding Bangor area. Southern Maine teams will play South. Our goal as always is to keep games as local as possible. Last Fall, BBN Events ran over 180 games each weekend and we are looking for another successful League.

Open to Middle School and High School:
Travel teams, Club teams, High School teams are invited

Put your own team in the league: High School play 2 games on Sundays, Middle School teams play 2 games on Saturdays. League cost: 5 weekends 10 games $575 or 6 weekends $675. 2 games per weekend for 5 to 6 weekends.

Dates: October 1, 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-29, November 4-5
Weather makeup date: November 12 

Divisions: Boys & Girls High School and Middle School

Join a Black Bear North fall team for $250: If you don’t have a team to play for, BBN will provide one. Private message or contact bbnbasketball@gmail.com for more information.

Put your own team in the Fall League for $675: Boys/Girls Middle School and under play Saturdays. High School teams play on Sundays. Guaranteed 10-12 games

For teams who wish to play in a selected weekends and not join the Fall League, you will be guaranteed 2 games each day for a $125 fee.

Why play in the Fall League

• Player Cost:  $250 tuition fee to play on a Black Bear North League team. This include 2 games per week.

We welcome all school, club and travel teams.

League Game Rules

• 4-10 minute quarters running time.
• Stop time last 1 minutes each quarter.
• 5 team fouls per quarter = double bonus. Team fouls will reset every quarter.
• 2 timeouts per game
• There will be no full court pressure allowed in the second half once the score is beyond 20 points.
• 5 min warm up.
• 3 min half time.
• Overtime Rules: first team to 3 points.

Other Rules

COACHES AND PLAYERS: Anyone receiving two technical fouls or being ejected will be asked to leave the building and will forfeit their right to coach or play the remainder of that game and the next game they are scheduled for. We will strictly enforce this rule. We welcome your enthusiasm for the game, we just ask that it is channeled appropriately.
PLAYER FOULS: Player fouls are kept and 6 Fouls rule is in effect. A player will be allowed to continue only if the team would be shorthanded without him/her

Spectators Admission $7. Admission is free if you volunteer to work the clock for both of your team’s games. Each team are to provide a score/clock keeper for each game.
